Lalit Kataria

Lalit Kataria is situated in the busy heart of Kashmere Gate. Our location is at Plot No 434, tucked away in Block No 2 along Rajan Kalan Gali. If you know this part of Delhi, you know the streets are narrow and always full of people and goods moving around. It’s a historic area, and our building has that old-world feel to it. The walls are thick, and the stairs are a bit steep, but it’s home for the business. We don't have a fancy lobby or a coffee machine for guests. Usually, we just offer a stool and some water. Work here is fast-paced because that’s just the nature of Kashmere Gate. We spend a lot of time on the phone or writing things down in our registers. Lalit Kataria isn't about being flashy or sounding important. We are just one of many small businesses in Rajan Kalan Gali trying to get through the day's tasks. The noise from the main road filters in, but we’ve learned to work through it over the years. We know the other shopkeepers around Block No 2, and there’s a sense of looking out for each other. It’s not a polished corporate life, it’s a real one. We handle our tasks with a bit of sweat and a lot of focus. That’s just the way it has to be when you’re based in such a lively part of the city.
