It’s a bit away from the main city buzz, which we actually prefer for the kind of civil construction work we do. Being based out of a house makes things feel a bit more personal, I think. We aren't some giant corporation with hundreds of people. It’s just a small team of us at Kirsha Civil Construction Privatelimited. We handle a lot of the local building needs, whether it's a small house or some basic civil work around the area. The roads around Afjal Pur can get a bit muddy when it rains, so we spend a lot of time cleaning our boots before we go inside. Our days are mostly spent on-site, making sure the bricks are being laid right and the levels are correct. Back at the house, we handle the paperwork and talk to the suppliers. It’s a very practical way to run a business. We don't have a lot of bells and whistles or fancy computers. We just focus on getting the structures built so people can use them.
