Kapil Mohan

I have been sitting here at Jharsa Road for quite some time now. It’s a busy spot and sometimes the dust from the road gets inside if I leave the front open too long. My name is Kapil Mohan and this is where I spend most of my days. People around here know me just as Kapil. It isn’t a big operation or anything like that. I usually get here early, around nine, once the traffic starts picking up. The tea stall nearby is where I get my morning fix before I start sorting through things. Sometimes neighbors stop by just to chat about the weather or the new construction happening down the street. It’s mostly just routine work. I don't really have a big team or fancy computers. I handle things myself and try to keep everything organized on my desk, though it gets messy by noon. Some days are slow and I just watch the cars go by. Other days, I’m running around trying to get things finished before the sun goes down. The building is older but it does the job. I don’t think much about making it look pretty for customers because most people who come here already know what they need. It’s just how things are on Jharsa Road. I’ve thought about moving to a bigger space, but then I’d miss the people I see every day. It’s home for me now, even if it’s just a place of work.
