Irfan Quresi

Irfan Quresi’s place is right here in Hapur. If you know the Kila area, we are just near the Kona Kali Maszid. It is one of those old neighborhoods where everyone knows everyone else. Our workspace is pretty humble. We don’t have those big glass windows or shiny signs you see in the city center. It’s just a solid roof over our heads near the mosque. The calls to prayer mark our day, and the streets around here are usually narrow and full of life. Most mornings start with a quick cleanup of the front area. We handle our daily tasks without a lot of noise. It gets pretty hot in the summer, so we have a couple of old fans that make a bit of a racket, but they keep the air moving enough to work. People around Hapur know where to find us if they need anything. We’ve been at this address for a long time, so we are part of the furniture now. No big meetings or corporate talk here. We just sit down, look at what needs to be finished, and get to it. Sometimes we share a meal together in the afternoon when things slow down. It is a very local way of doing things. We don't try to be something we aren't. Just Irfan Quresi and the small crew here at the Kila Kona spot, trying to do an honest day's work for the folks around us.
