Hindustan Paints & Sanitary Store

You can find us right on G.T. Road, directly across from the Dass Factory. It is a busy stretch of road, so there is always a lot of movement outside our doors. We handle a mix of things here, mostly paint and sanitary items like pipes and bathroom fittings. The shop is a bit of a maze sometimes. We have crates of tiles in one corner and stacks of white paint buckets in another. It’s not the quietest place to work because of the factory across the way and all the trucks going by, but it keeps us on our toes. We spend a lot of time checking our lists and making sure we haven't run out of the common stuff people ask for daily. If you walk in, you’ll probably see someone lugging a heavy pipe or mixing a specific color for a customer. We don't bother with much decoration in the store. The walls are mostly covered in shelves that go all the way to the ceiling. It’s a practical setup for a practical kind of business. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a bit over the years, but the road stays just as busy as ever. Most of our day is spent talking to contractors or homeowners who are in the middle of a renovation. It is hard work, especially when the weather gets hot, but it’s what we do. We just keep the shop running and help people find what they need for their builds.
