Garg Paints & H/W Store

Garg Paints & H/W Store is located in Sector 5 of Vasundhara. We are very close to the Shiv Temple, which is a major landmark in this neighborhood. A lot of people walk past our shop on their way to or from the temple, so we get to see a lot of our neighbors every day. The shop itself is a mix of paint supplies and various hardware items that people might need for quick repairs at home. It is not a very large space, so we have to use every bit of the walls to hang things up. Sometimes it feels like everything is piled on top of each other, but there is a system to it all. Vasundhara is a nice area and we feel like a real part of the community here. We often spend time chatting with customers about the weather or local news while they are looking for a specific shade of paint or a new faucet. The front of the store is usually lined with plastic buckets and some brushes. We don't have a professional marketing team or anything like that; we just put a sign out and wait for people to come in. The interior could probably use a fresh coat of paint itself, ironically, but we are usually too busy helping others with theirs. It’s a simple, local store where you can find the basics without having to go to a big mall. The ceiling fan wobbles a bit, but it keeps us cool enough while we work.
