We operate out of House No 64 in Sector 28, Noida. It’s an office setup in a residential area, which makes it feel a bit more relaxed than being in a big glass tower. We mostly deal with the administrative side of the hospitality industry. There are always stacks of papers on the desks and people coming in for meetings or to drop off documents. Since we represent hotels and restaurants across the country, the phone rings quite a bit with people asking about regulations or memberships. We don't have a big flashy sign outside. Inside, it’s just a normal office with desks and a small area for tea and coffee. We spend a lot of time on emails and coordinating with different branches. Sometimes the internet is slow and we all have to wait around, which gives us a chance to chat. It’s a small group of us working here. We aren't a hotel ourselves, but we spend all our time thinking about them. The neighborhood is quiet, which is nice when we have to focus on writing reports or checking files. We’ve been in this Sector 28 spot for a while now and the locals know us. It’s a lot of boring office work sometimes, but it’s important for keeping the association running smoothly. We just take it one day at a time and try to stay on top of the pile of work.
