Dynamic Systems

Our place is at 220/40, Thulasi Mansion. It’s on the ground floor, which makes it easy for carrying things in and out without having to deal with stairs. We’re on 3rd Cross in Nagappa Block. It’s a quiet enough street most of the time, though the mornings can get a bit hectic with people heading to work or dropping kids off. We work on systems, which mostly means we’re surrounded by wires, screens, and various bits of hardware that need fixing or setting up. The ground floor is a bit dark because of how the buildings are clustered together, so we have the lights on all day long. It’s a functional space. We have a few benches where we line up the projects we’re currently working on. There’s always a stack of boxes near the entrance waiting to be picked up by the delivery guys. We don’t really do fancy meetings. Usually, we just talk over the monitors or while we’re standing around the workbench with a screwdriver in hand. The Nagappa Block area has a lot of small businesses like ours, so we often see the same faces every day. We’ve got a small area in the back for a sink and some spare parts. It feels lived-in. The walls are a bit scuffed from moving equipment around, and the floor is plain concrete. It’s a good spot for what we do. No distractions, just the work. We try to keep things moving along so nothing sits for too long.
