Delhi Beauty Centre

Delhi Beauty Centre has been sitting on Shivaji College Road for longer than I can remember. We are at Plot 185 in C Block of Tagore Garden. It is a busy road, especially with the college students walking by all the time. Our shop isn't one of those big malls where everything is white and shiny. We have the same chairs we started with, mostly. They are comfortable though. We get a lot of regulars from the neighborhood. Some ladies have been coming here since they were kids. Now they bring their own children in for a trim. It’s nice to see families grow up like that. We spend a lot of time just chatting over tea while waiting for the hair dye to set. It gets noisy with the hair dryers and the traffic outside, but you get used to it. Sometimes the water pressure is a bit low in the mornings, but we manage. We aren't trying to be the most famous place in Delhi. We just want people to walk out feeling a bit better than when they came in. It's a simple shop with honest people working hard. We don’t use any fancy words for what we do. We just cut hair and do what needs doing. The mirrors are a bit spotted and the floor stays covered in hair, but that is how a real shop looks.
