Decent Mens Salon

Decent Mens Salon is located at 116 on Railway Rd in the Chhoti Bazaria area of Ghaziabad. If you know this part of town, you know it stays busy with all the shops and people coming from the train station. Our shop has been here for a good number of years and not much has changed inside. We have the same blue chairs we started with, though we had to patch the leather on one of them last winter. The floor is tiled, which makes it easier to sweep up all the hair after a long day of work. We usually open up around nine in the morning and stay until the last customer leaves in the evening. It is mostly local workers and guys who live nearby who come in for a shave or a quick trim. There is a small radio that plays local stations, and sometimes we argue about which song should stay on. The walls have some old posters that have faded over time, but we like them that way. It feels like home to us. Being on Railway Rd means there is always noise from the traffic outside, but you get used to it after a few days. We don't do anything complicated, just standard cuts that people ask for. Sometimes the water pressure is a bit low, so we keep a couple of buckets filled up just in case. The space is a little cramped when four people are waiting, but nobody seems to mind much.
