Crane-Bel International Private Limited is located at E-7 in the Kavi Nagar Industrial Area. Being in an industrial zone means there's always a truck backing up or something being unloaded nearby. It’s a practical spot for what we do. We deal with heavy machinery and hydraulic systems mostly. It's not the cleanest job in the world. You end up with grease on your shirt more often than not. We have a workshop in the back where most of the heavy lifting happens. The front office handles the orders and the phone calls. It’s a small group of us. We’ve worked together for a long time, so we don't need to say much to get things done. Some of the equipment we handle is pretty old, and some of it is brand new. We have to know how to fix both. It gets hot in the summer because the fans only do so much. We don't spend money on fancy decorations. We’d rather have better tools. Most of our day is spent checking specs and making sure things are aligned. If a crane part is off by a few millimeters, it’s a problem. So we take our time. We don't have a big social media presence or anything. We just do the work and send it out. It’s a steady pace. We open the gates early and lock up when the last job is finished. It is just basic hard work every single day.
