Celebrations Inn

Vasonhra is where we set up this place. It’s more like a home that we turned into a spot for people to stay or have small gatherings. We spend a lot of our time checking the linens and making sure the kitchen has enough tea and sugar. Sometimes the gate squeaks when guests come in late at night, and I keep forgetting to oil it. People book the space for birthdays or when family is visiting from out of town. It gets pretty loud when there’s a party going on, but that is just part of the job. We don't have a giant staff, just a few of us who do a bit of everything from cleaning to answering the door. The rooms are basic, nothing like those huge hotels in the city center. We just want people to have a place to sleep that isn't too expensive. The garden area needs a bit of weeding right now, but the flowers look okay from a distance. Managing the bookings can get confusing when everyone calls at once. We use a big notebook to keep track of who is coming and going. It’s a lot of work keeping up with the maintenance because something is always breaking, like a leaky tap or a lightbulb going out. We just do our best to stay on top of things here in Vasonhra and keep the place running smoothly for whoever shows up. It keeps us on our toes.
