Blackberry

The shop is right here in Kaushambi 1, just a spot where we keep things running every day. People around here know the name Blackberry mostly because we’ve been around for a bit now. It is not some fancy corporate office, just a place where we handle what needs doing. We start early usually, getting the shutters up and making sure everything is in its place before the first person walks through the door. Kaushambi has changed quite a bit over the years. We remember when there were fewer cars and more quiet, but now it’s always busy. Sometimes the traffic is a mess right outside and you can hear the horns all day. We just stay focused on the work at hand. Most days are pretty regular. We talk to the regulars who stop by, sometimes just to say hello or ask about something they need. It is a lot of routine, honestly. Cleaning the glass, checking the stock, answering the phone when it rings. We don’t have some big fancy speech about why we are here. We are just here because this is where we work and how we spend our time. It’s a job like any other, but we take it seriously enough. Sometimes the weather gets too hot and the fan barely keeps up, but we stay anyway. If you are looking for us, we are just in this part of town, doing what we do every day. There is usually someone around if you need something.
