At Bhaskar Concrete Mixers & Gensets, we spend most of our time dealing with heavy machinery. We are located at 157, Sewa Nagar on Meerut Road. It’s a high-traffic area with a lot of trucks and construction vehicles passing by all day long. Our yard is usually full of mixers in various states of repair and generators that need a bit of attention. It’s a rough and tumble kind of business. Concrete is messy, and the machines that mix it are even messier. We don’t wear suits here; it’s all boots and heavy-duty clothes. The sun beats down on the yard, and we’re out there moving things around with the crane or testing out an engine. We’ve been on Meerut Road for quite a while now and we know most of the other shop owners around Sewa Nagar. It’s a community of people who work with their hands. We don’t really bother with fancy brochures. If someone needs a mixer or a genset fixed, they just pull up and ask. We tell them what’s wrong and how long it’ll take. It’s a very direct way of doing business. Sometimes a repair takes longer than we thought because parts are hard to find, but we always try to be straight about it. It’s just about keeping the machines running so the building sites can keep moving.
