You’ll find our workshop right near the Hanuman Mandir on Bulandshahr Road. Being in the industrial area means it's always a bit hectic with the trucks and the laborers moving about. We’ve been in this specific spot for quite some time. Bharat Rubber Company isn’t a huge corporation; it’s just a place where we process rubber day in and day out. The temple is a good landmark because the road can get confusing with all the similar-looking gates. We usually start the day with a quick prayer when the temple bells ring nearby. After that, it’s all about the machines. We deal with various rubber products, mostly for industrial use. The floors are stained with oil and rubber dust, and the walls have seen a lot of seasons pass. We don't have a marketing team or anyone sitting in a suit. If you call, one of us will probably answer while wiping our hands on a rag. Some days the machines run smooth, other days they need a bit of coaxing and a wrench to get going again. We drink a lot of chai to keep ourselves moving, especially during the long afternoon shifts when the sun is high. It’s just honest labor. We produce what’s asked of us and try to keep our neighbors happy. The traffic on Bulandshahr Road is always a mess, so we try to get our deliveries out early before the jams start.
