Asm Tech Consultants Private Limited is located on BSR Road in the industrial area. It’s a very different vibe from the residential parts of town. Being at D-1/1 means we are surrounded by warehouses and workshops, so there’s always some kind of noise or truck moving around outside. The office itself is quite functional. We don’t have much in the way of decoration, just some desks, chairs, and filing cabinets that have seen better days. We do tech consulting, which basically means people call us when their systems aren’t doing what they are supposed to do. We spend a lot of time on the phone or driving out to other sites to look at hardware. The dust from the industrial area gets everywhere, so we are constantly cleaning our keyboards and screens. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we do. We have a small group of regulars who come in and out, and we all know how the coffee machine works—or doesn’t work, depending on the day. We don’t have a flashy website or a team of salespeople. We just rely on people knowing where we are and what we can do. It’s a very grounded way to work. We stick to our schedules and try to get home before the traffic on the main road gets too backed up in the evening. It can be a long day, but we feel good about the progress.
