Ashu Hair Cutting Saloon

Ashu Hair Cutting Saloon is our small shop on the Main Road in Gyan Khand. We are right at 492-G, which is very close to the Morning Bell Play School. You can usually hear the kids playing outside during the day. I opened this place because I’ve been cutting hair since I was young and it’s what I know best. It is a very basic setup. We have a couple of chairs that have seen better days and some mirrors on the walls. It isn't a high-end place where you get fancy drinks, but you get a decent haircut for a fair price. Most of the people who come in live right here in the neighborhood. We see the same faces every few weeks. Sometimes we sit and talk about the weather or what’s happening on the street while I work with the scissors. The floor gets covered in hair pretty fast, but we try to sweep it up when we can. On weekends it gets a bit busy and people have to wait on the bench outside, but nobody seems to mind much. We don't have a website or anything like that. We just open the shutters in the morning and wait for people to stop by. It’s a quiet life and the work is steady. We just try to do a good job for every person who sits in the chair. It is just a normal local barber shop for everyone.
