Ashok Traders

Our shop, Ashok Traders, is at Shop No. 267 in Vijay Nagar, Sector 9. We are very close to Gautam Public School, so the street gets really crowded when the kids are leaving for the day. We have a lot of different things in the shop, and it can look a bit cluttered if you aren't used to it. We try to keep things in some kind of order, but when you have a lot of customers coming in for different items, things get moved around. It is just a local trading shop where we sell everyday necessities and some hardware stuff. The fan in the ceiling makes a bit of a clicking sound, but it keeps us cool enough during the summer months. We don't have any fancy displays or bright lights. Most of our shelves are made of wood and are filled to the top. We've known some of the families in Sector 9 for years now. They come in to buy what they need and usually stay for a few minutes to talk about the weather or local news. It’s a nice way to spend the day, even if it gets tiring standing on our feet for ten hours. We don't have a big corporate office or a boss in another city. It is just us here, making sure the shelves stay full and the customers get what they came for without any fuss. Sometimes we stay late to count the stock and make sure everything is where it should be.
