The shop is right here at D-268 in Kallupura Quresy Market. If you know Ghaziabad, you know how this market gets on weekends. It is always packed with people and the noise never really stops until late at night. Arvind Kumar started this place a long time back because we needed a spot that was central enough for people to find us without getting lost in the narrow lanes. The building itself is nothing special to look at, just a regular brick structure with a heavy blue door that sometimes gets stuck when it rains. We spend most of our mornings cleaning up the dust that comes in from the main road. It is just a few of us here. We don't have fancy furniture or a big sign with bright lights. Most of our day is spent handling things as they come in. Sometimes the electricity goes out for an hour or two in the afternoon, so we just sit outside and talk to the neighbors. It is a simple way of living. We have seen the market change over the years, with new shops opening up and old ones closing down. We stayed put because this is where we belong. It is not always easy working in such a crowded area, but you get used to the rhythm of the place after a while. We keep our tools and papers organized in old metal cupboards that have been here since day one.
