Anwer Hair Saloon

This hair saloon is at L 234 in Sanjay Colony, over in the Sanjay Nagar part of Ghaziabad. It is a small place where we do haircuts and shaves for the local people. I’ve been at this spot for quite a while now. The shop is simple, nothing special to look at from the outside. Inside, we have our mirrors and chairs and the tools of the trade. It gets quite warm in the summer, but we keep the fans going. People drop in throughout the day. Some are in a hurry and others like to sit and chat for a while. We know most of the families living around Sanjay Colony. It’s a busy neighborhood and there’s always noise from the street. We don’t bother with fancy advertising or anything like that. Word of mouth is how people find us. We just try to do a neat job so people come back next time. Sometimes it's hard work being on your feet all day long, but it pays the bills. We keep the prices fair because we know our neighbors. It’s just a normal hair shop for normal people. We open up every day and do our best to keep everyone looking decent. It’s a long day from start to finish, but it’s what we know. We are just happy to be part of the community here.
