Alka Beauty Parlour

Alka Beauty Parlour is tucked away in the Vishram Apartment building, specifically at B-168, D2 in Shalimar Garden Main. We are right near Bhaati Property Dealer, which is a landmark most people in Sahibabad know well. I’ve been working out of this space for quite a few years now. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze inside, but we make it work for everyone who visits. My day usually starts with checking the inventory of threads, creams, and wax. Most of my customers are women living in the apartments nearby or the houses just down the lane. We do a lot of eyebrows, facials, and henna during the wedding season. It can get quite noisy when three or four ladies are all talking at once while waiting their turn. I try to keep the place tidy, though the magazines on the table are always getting ruffled. Ghaziabad is a busy place, and being in Shalimar Garden means there's always someone walking by. I don't have a big team, just myself and one girl who helps with the hair washing. We aren't trying to be like those big fancy chains you see on TV. We just provide what people need. Sometimes the water pressure is a bit low, or the light in the back flickers, but we just get on with things. It’s a friendly atmosphere where everyone knows each other’s business. We have been here so long that the neighbors just feel like family.
