Alish Saloon

This place is in Kaushambi, right near the Edm Mall area in Ghaziabad. It is a local spot that stays busy because of the location. People often stop by while they are out doing their shopping or running errands near the mall. The setup is simple with enough room for a few people to wait. We keep the scissors sharp and the combs clean. It is mostly regular stuff here like hair trimming and basic grooming for men. The mall being so close brings in different people but we also have our regulars who live in the apartments nearby. They come in every two weeks like clockwork. The shop smells like talcum powder and aftershave mostly. I like to keep the door open when it’s not too hot outside so the air moves around. Sometimes we have a small TV running in the corner but mostly it’s just the sound of the clippers. It isn’t a place with fancy coffee or big sofas. Just sturdy chairs and a place to hang your bag while you get a haircut. It gets dark early in the winter so the street lights outside help people find us. We don’t try to be anything we aren’t. It is just a shop for a haircut and a chat if you feel like it. Most people just want to get in and out quickly and we understand that. It works for everyone involved.
