Albaksh Hair Dresser

I’ve got my shop, Albaksh Hair Dresser, over in Lokpriya Vihar. It’s in the Khora Colony area, right near Bharat Convent School. You can hear the school bell ringing throughout the day, which usually tells me when I’m about to get busy. Parents often stop in for a quick trim after they drop their kids off, or sometimes they bring the boys in after school is out for the day. The shop is pretty basic, just a couple of chairs and big mirrors that I try to keep polished. Khora Colony is a lively place to be, there’s always something going on outside on the street. I’ve lived around here for years, so I know most of the people who walk past the door. Some stop in just to say hello even if they don’t need a haircut. I keep my tools sharp and my spray bottles full. It’s a lot of standing on my feet all day, but I’m used to it by now. The floor is tile, so it’s easy to sweep up the hair after every customer. I don't have any big signs or bright lights, just the name on the front. It’s a steady life, cutting hair and listening to the local news from whoever is sitting in my chair. When it rains, the street gets a bit messy, but people still come in anyway. I just put a mat by the door to catch the mud. It's not a fancy place but it's where I work every day.
