You can find us at Shop No 14 on the lower ground floor of the Express Garden Market in Indirapuram. We are quite close to the Shipra Shopping Plaza, which means there are always people walking around the market. Being on the LGF means it stays a bit cooler inside during the summer, which is a relief. The shop has the usual setup with big mirrors, swivel chairs, and that specific smell of hair products and talcum powder. We’ve got a couple of magazines on a side table that are probably a few months old, but people still flip through them while they wait. The floor gets covered in hair pretty quickly on a Saturday, so one of us is always holding a broom. We try to keep the music at a level where you can still hear the gossip from the chair next to you. The lighting is bright—those long white tubes that show every detail. Sometimes the water pressure in the back sinks acts up, but we’ve learned how to deal with it over the years. We get a mix of regulars who have been coming since we opened and people who just stumble in after doing their groceries at the plaza. It’s a lively spot, especially in the evenings when everyone is getting ready for their weekend. We just keep our heads down and keep working until the last person leaves and we can lock up.
