Ahsaas Saloon

Our shop is over at Plot No-6/85 in Sector 2 of Rajendra Nagar. We are really close to the DAV School, so we hear the school bell and the kids shouting every afternoon when they get out. Ghaziabad can be a dusty place, so we spend a lot of time wiping down the glass and the counters. It’s called Ahsaas Saloon, and it’s been sitting here for a good while. Inside, we have the old-style chairs that lean back for a shave. We keep the spray bottles full and the combs in the blue water to keep things clean. People from the nearby blocks usually just walk over when they need a trim. We don’t have a big staff, just a couple of us who know how to handle the clippers. The light in the shop is a bit bright, but it helps us see what we are doing. We have a small television in the corner that usually has the cricket or some old movie playing. Sometimes the tea man comes by and we take a quick break. It is a straightforward business. We don't do anything too wild, just the usual cuts and beard trims. If you live around Rajendra Nagar, you probably passed by us a dozen times already. We open early and stay until the last customer is done in the evening.
