Aditya Birla Group-Hindalco Industries

Our spot is located in Ashiana Greens, right in the Indirapuram area of Ghaziabad. We’re part of the Hindalco Industries side of the Aditya Birla Group. Being in a residential-looking complex like Ashiana Greens makes it a bit different from a typical industrial site. It’s a bit quieter here, which is nice when we are trying to get through all the paperwork and management tasks that come with the metal business. Ghaziabad is always growing, and being at 54/Sf means we’re right in the middle of that suburban bustle. Most of us live nearby, so the commute isn't too bad unless the traffic on the main roads gets backed up, which happens more often than we’d like. We deal with various aspects of the aluminum industry from this office. It’s mostly computers, phones, and meetings. We don't have the big smelters here, of course, but the coordination that happens in this space is what keeps things moving for the bigger plants. It’s a small team here, so everyone knows everyone else. We take our tea breaks together and talk about whatever is going on in the city. There isn't any corporate polish here; just a bunch of people working hard to make sure the Hindalco operations run without any hiccups. It’s a steady kind of job and we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of the Indirapuram neighborhood over the years. It feels like a second home for most of us now.
