Aashka Steels Private Limited is located at 385 in the Industrial Area. If you know the Loha Mandi area on the Bsr Road, you know it’s a lot of trucks and heavy metal moving around all day. It’s not the quietest place to work, but it’s where all the action is for steel. We spend most of our time dealing with loading and unloading. There is always a layer of dust on everything, and the sound of metal hitting metal is just part of the background noise now. It’s a pretty straightforward operation here. We have the space to keep the stock and enough room for the trucks to back in, which is the main thing you need in this business. Some days are slower than others when the market is quiet, but usually, there's enough to keep us on our feet from morning until the sun goes down. We’ve been at this spot for a bit, and we know the neighbors in the other industrial units around us. We don't really do much in the way of fancy offices or anything like that. It’s more about having a solid place to store the steel and get it out to the customers who need it for their projects. Sometimes the heat in the warehouse gets to be a lot in the summer, but we just keep the fans going and get through the day. The tea guy comes by around four, and that’s usually the highlight of the afternoon for most of the crew. We just keep our heads down and work.
