Hello Kids

Hello Kids is a small place located in Anugrah Puri Colony in Gaya. It is mainly for the younger children in the neighborhood. The building is basically a converted house with rooms that serve as classrooms. We have some play equipment out front, like a small slide and some swings that have seen better days but still work fine. Most of the families who send their children here live within walking distance in the colony. It is a very local operation. We have a few teachers who live nearby and help out with the kids. Our days are spent teaching the alphabet and playing games. It gets quite loud because little kids are not known for being quiet. We do not have any big corporate backing; it is just a local school run by people from the area. The walls have some bright paintings on them to make it look cheerful for the kids. We deal with the usual stuff like spilled water and lost sweaters every day. In the afternoons, the parents come by to pick up their children and have a quick chat with the staff. Gaya can be very hot, so we try to keep the kids inside during the middle of the day. It is a simple setup, nothing fancy at all. We just provide a place for the little ones to go while their parents are busy. It has been a part of Anugrah Puri Colony for a while now.
