We are based at D 96 in Sector 10. It is a fairly quiet street compared to some of the bigger commercial hubs nearby, but it still has its own energy. The building is a simple one, and we occupy a space that we have slowly made our own over the years. We didn’t do much in terms of decorating, so it is mostly just white walls and basic office furniture. There are a few plants in the corner that someone remembers to water every now and then. We spend our days sitting at our computers, typing away and talking to each other across the room. The lighting inside is a bit fluorescent, which can be tiring by the end of the day, but we are used to it. In the afternoons, you can hear the kids playing in the street or the sound of a passing vendor calling out what they are selling. We have a small pantry where we keep our lunch boxes, and the smell of reheating food usually fills the place around one o'clock. It is a very ordinary office routine. We come in, do what needs to be done, and then lock up the front door when the sun starts to set. There isn't any fancy lobby or receptionist; it is just us working in a room in Sector 10. It feels like home after being here for so long, even with the creaky chairs.
