Tyco Fire & Security

You can find us at Tyco Fire & Security over at Fc-23 in Sector-16A. This area is pretty busy with lots of different companies, but we’re the ones always surrounded by fire extinguishers, alarm panels, and rolls of sensor wire. Our day usually starts with checking the schedule to see which sites need inspections or where the new systems are going in. The office is functional, mostly filled with boxes of equipment and technicians coming in and out to grab tools. It’s not the kind of place where people sit quietly at desks all day. There’s a lot of movement. We spend a lot of time testing things, so you might hear an alarm bell ring for a few seconds before someone shuts it off. We’ve got shelves stacked with smoke detectors and all sorts of security gadgets that we have to keep track of. It’s a lot of manual work and checking off lists to make sure nothing was missed. We don't really do the whole corporate polish thing here; the floors are a bit scuffed from the boots and the coffee machine has seen better days. We just focus on getting the gear ready and making sure the guys know where they’re heading for the day. Sector-16A is a good spot for us because it’s easy for the vans to get in and out. We just keep busy and stay on top of the work as it comes in.
