You can find us at G-79 in Sector-9. It’s a straightforward shop where we handle a lot of steel work. We have been in this spot for a long time, and the neighborhood knows us for the cupboards and racks we put together. It’s not a quiet place because working with metal involves a lot of clanging and welding. We usually have the doors wide open to let the air circulate, especially in the summer. Sector-9 is a bit more organized than some other areas, but it still has that busy feel of a place where things are being made. I usually get in around nine and start going through the list of what needs to be welded or painted for the day. We make things that are meant to sit in an office or a storeroom and just do their job for twenty years. There isn't any fancy marketing here. If you walk in, you’ll probably see me or one of the guys with a tape measure and a pencil behind the ear. The floor is concrete and usually has some scraps of steel lying around. It’s honest work. Sometimes we get people coming in for a single small shelf, and other times it’s a big order for a school nearby. We treat them the same. It’s just about getting the steel cut right and making sure the joints are strong. That’s how we’ve always done it and it seems to work.
