Ra Leather Components P. Ltd.

Our place is at E-19 in Sector 6, where we run Ra Leather Components P. Ltd. If you’ve been to this part of the sector, you know it’s full of different small industries and manufacturing units. We focus on making various parts and components out of leather. It’s a bit of a messy process sometimes, with the cutting and the scraps that end up on the floor, but we try to keep it as tidy as we can. The smell of leather is pretty strong inside the unit, but we’ve all gotten used to it over the years. We have a few machines that are quite old but still run perfectly fine for what we need. It’s not a high-tech factory by any means. We rely a lot on the skills of the people working the machines. My desk is tucked away in a corner where I can see most of the floor. We don't really do much in terms of advertising. Most of our work comes from long-time customers who know where to find us in Sector 6. We just focus on getting the dimensions right and making sure the leather quality is what was asked for. When the day ends, we just lock up and head home like everyone else in the area. It’s hard work, but it’s honest, and it feels good to see the finished pieces boxed up and ready for delivery. It's just a steady daily grind for us here.
