Jackson Industries India is situated at C-88 in the Hosiery Complex over in Gautam Budh Nagar, Phase-2. It’s a large area filled with similar businesses, so the sound of machines is just part of the background here. We have a fairly large floor where the main production happens, and the air is always a bit dusty from the fabrics we work with. The lighting isn't the best in the back corners, but we have lamps at all the important stations. Our office is just a glass-walled room on one side of the factory floor, which lets us keep an eye on things while we handle the billing and the client calls. It can get quite hot in the summer, even with the big industrial fans blowing, so we usually start our days pretty early to beat the heat. There’s a lot of coming and going with trucks at the loading dock, and it can be a real headache trying to park anywhere nearby during the peak hours. We’ve been in this spot for a while, and the walls are covered with old calendars and notes we’ve scribbled over the years. We aren't a high-end fashion house, just a practical factory where people work hard to get the products finished on time. The staff usually brings their own tiffins and we eat together on the benches outside when the weather is decent, just taking a break before the next shift starts up.
