We are based at Site Epip, plot E-014, out in Greater Noida. This part of the city feels very different from Noida or Delhi because the roads are so wide and everything is spread out. Our office is in one of those large industrial buildings that looks a bit like a warehouse from the outside. Inside, it is a lot more comfortable, though we have a lot of open space that we have not quite filled yet. It is usually pretty quiet around here during the day, except for the occasional truck pulling into one of the neighboring plots. The commute is a bit long for most of us, so we tend to arrive a little later and stay until the evening to avoid the worst of the traffic on the expressway. We have a few rows of desks and a small area where we have put some old couches for when we need to take a break from the screens. The walls are mostly bare, except for a couple of calendars and some notes taped up near the workstations. We get our lunch from a small canteen nearby or bring it in from home, and we usually eat together in the small pantry area. It is a very functional environment without any unnecessary frills. We like the peace and quiet of this area because it lets us focus on our technical tasks without the constant noise of the city.
