We are based in Noida, specifically in Sector 53 at the Kanchanjuga Apartments. It’s a bit of an unusual spot for an association office since it’s in a residential complex, but it works for us. We handle stuff for the Indian Electrical Electronics Manufacturing Association Ie. Mrs Anita Gupta is here and we manage the day-to-day things from Flat No 88 D in Pocket E. There are a lot of files and emails to get through every day. The electrical industry is big and there’s always something happening with new rules or manufacturing shifts. We talk to manufacturers and keep track of what’s going on in the market. It’s a lot of sitting at desks and making calls. The area around here is pretty quiet, which helps us focus. We don't have a big corporate sign outside. We just go about our business in 201301. Most people contact us online or by phone anyway. It’s a small team and we’ve been together for a while. We know our members and we know the industry inside out. It’s practical work. We don't need a fancy glass tower to get things done. Being in an apartment makes it feel more like a small family business, even though the association is quite large across the country. We just keep working away at the paperwork and helping out where we can for the industry.
