Hitech Machines & Equipments

Our place is at C 395 in Sector 10. We’ve been running Hitech Machines & Equipments from this unit for quite some time now. Even though the name sounds a bit modern, we’re a pretty traditional shop when it gets down to it. We have rows of tools and various pieces of equipment lining the walls. Some of it is for sale, and some of it is just stuff we use to fix things that people bring in. The workbench is always cluttered with bolts, screwdrivers, and half-finished projects. We don't mind the mess much because it means we’re actually working. The guys here know how to fix just about anything that has a motor or a gear. We often have the radio playing in the background, though you can barely hear it over the sound of the machines running. It gets dusty, especially when we’re grinding something down, so we keep the doors open for some air. Sector 10 is a good place to be because everyone else around here is also making things or fixing things. We often trade favors with the shop next door if we’re missing a specific wrench or a bit of grease. It’s a community of makers and we fit right in. We don't go in for big speeches about what we do. We just look at the machine, figure out what's wrong, and try to get it running again for whoever brought it in.
