Greenwreen Farmer Producer Company Limited is located at Puran Singh’s place in Garhi Nandu, near Bharatia in Sadabad, Mathura. We are a group of producers who work together to manage our crops and get them to market. It’s a busy life here in the Mathura district. Most of us are in the fields from dawn until it gets dark. We set up the company because it was getting harder to handle all the logistics as individual farmers. At Garhi Nandu, we keep our records and have our meetings to decide on what to plant next. It’s a very local operation. We don't have any polished marketing or a big sales team. It's just Puran and the rest of us making sure the work gets done. Farming involves a lot of waiting for rain and then a lot of rushing when it's time to harvest. Being a producer company means we can share the load a bit. We focus on the everyday reality of growing food. Sometimes we have issues with the transport or the prices at the market, but we deal with it as a group. It’s a straightforward life. We aren't trying to impress anyone; we’re just working the land like our fathers did, but with a bit more organization this time around. It's a solid, honest way to make a living in Sadabad. We just keep moving forward one day at a time, through every harvest.
