We are way up on the 17th floor of Ajnara Legarden, specifically in unit E-1705. It’s in Sector-16, Greater Noida West. The view from up here is actually pretty good, though we spend most of our time looking at our code instead of out the window at the skyline. Getting into the building and up the elevator takes a few minutes every morning, which is part of the routine. The office is a modern apartment-style space that we've converted for our software work. It feels a bit like a startup environment because it’s compact and everyone is working close together. We have our laptops, a few monitors, and some chairs that we really should consider replacing soon for something more comfortable. Greater Noida West is still growing, so there’s a lot of construction noise around the building sometimes. We usually have the radio or some music playing in the background to drown it out. It’s a bit of a trek for those of us who live further away, but the space works well for our needs. We don’t have a fancy pantry, so we just use the small kitchen area for making tea and keeping snacks. It’s a straightforward operation for us. We come in, we code, we solve some technical problems, and we go home. It’s not a glamorous life, but we like the technical challenges we deal with every day. It's just a group of us trying to make things work.
