Eastman Pneumatics & Hydraulics

If you head over to Sector 6, you’ll find us at D-5. We’ve been operating Eastman Pneumatics & Hydraulics from this spot for quite some time. It’s an industrial area, so there is always some noise or a truck blocking the way, but we’ve gotten used to it. We deal with all sorts of pneumatic parts and hydraulic systems. Our workshop is usually full of hoses, valves, and metal components that need sorting. It’s not the cleanest place in the world because of the oil and the dust, but that’s just the nature of the job. We spend our days mostly helping people find the right parts for their machines. Sometimes someone comes in with a broken hose and we have to figure out a fix right then and there. It’s mostly hands-on work. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. It’s just us here, working through the orders and making sure things get sent out where they need to go. The office part is just a desk with a lot of papers on it. We drink a lot of tea while we wait for deliveries to arrive. It’s a simple routine, but it works for us. Sector 6 can get pretty crowded around lunch, so we usually just eat here and keep the shop open. It’s a steady life and we know most of the people on this street by now.
