DPS Power Control System

Our workshop is over at B-144 in Phase-II. It’s a busy part of the industrial area, and we’ve been here long enough that the noise of the neighboring machines just feels like background music now. We deal with power control systems, which basically means we spend our time surrounded by electrical cabinets, copper wires, and all sorts of switches. If you come by, you’ll see panels in various stages of being built. It’s a bit of a messy environment, with wire clippings on the floor and tools scattered across the benches, but we have our own way of keeping track of things. We aren't interested in looking corporate or having a fancy office with air conditioning. We just focus on the wiring. Safety is the one thing we don’t joke about, given we’re dealing with high voltage, but otherwise, the atmosphere here is pretty laid back. We have a few guys who have been wiring these boards for years, and they know the circuits better than anyone. If a local factory has a breakdown or needs a new distribution board, they know where to find us. We don't use a lot of technical jargon to sound smart; we just explain what needs fixing and how long it’ll take. It’s a simple business run by people who live nearby and just want to do a solid job. We finish up, lock the gate, and head home just like everyone else.
