We operate out of B-34 in Sector 85. It’s a standard industrial block, nothing too special to look at from the outside. We spend our time working on air equipment, mostly big industrial fans and ventilation units. When we’re testing the larger blowers, the whole workshop gets a nice breeze, which is a lucky break during the summer months. We aren't a big, shiny corporation with a glass lobby. Our place is just a practical shed where we put parts together and get them ready for shipping. The floors are made of hard concrete and there’s always a little bit of metal dust around, no matter how many times we clean up. We’ve got a small crew here, and most of us have been doing this for quite a while. We don't go in for fancy marketing or big speeches about the future. If a customer needs to move air through a factory or a warehouse, they usually just give us a call and tell us the dimensions. We try to be helpful and figure out what size fan will actually do the job without costing them too much. Sometimes the trucks get stuck in the Sector 85 traffic, which can be a bit frustrating, but we just deal with it as it comes. It’s a normal, day-to-day operation where we just focus on the hardware. We drink our tea, check the work orders, and make sure the blades are balanced before anything leaves.
