Buland Organic Farmer Producer Company Limited is based in the village of Narayanpur, near Choundhera and Debai in Bulandshahr. We are a group of local farmers who came together to manage our organic produce. Farming is a tough job, especially when you switch to organic, so having a company structure helps us out. We spend most of our days out in the fields around Narayanpur. The office part of things is handled in the village, where we keep all the paperwork and plans for the next season. We are a producer company, which means all of us have a stake in how things go. It’s not a corporate office with suits; it’s just us in our regular clothes talking about seeds and prices. Sometimes we have to travel a bit to get our stuff to the right buyers. Bulandshahr has a lot of history with farming, and we’re just continuing that in our own way. We focus on keeping the soil good and not using the harsh chemicals that were common before. It’s a lot more work, but it feels right. We don't have a big marketing budget or anything. We just grow what we can and work together to sell it. Every morning starts early, and there’s always a list of chores to get through. It’s a quiet life mostly, just focused on the land and our local community here in the village. It's how we get by.
