We are located at C-259 in Sector-63. This part of the sector is mostly offices and industrial blocks, so it’s a lot of grey buildings and people rushing around during lunch. Our lab isn’t anything too flashy from the outside, just a standard door in a long row of units. Inside, we keep things as organized as we can. There are benches for testing and a lot of glassware that needs cleaning regularly. We spend a good chunk of the day looking at samples and writing down numbers in our logs. The air conditioning hums in the background which helps when the summer heat hits the concrete outside. It’s a quiet environment for the most part because you have to focus on what you’re doing. We don’t really have a big reception area or anyone to greet you at the door. Usually, whoever is closest to the entrance just looks up and helps out. The sector gets pretty busy with traffic in the evenings so we try to get our shipments out before the roads get clogged up. It’s a lot of repetitive tasks but that’s the nature of lab work. We’ve been at this spot for a while now and the neighbors in the other units are mostly quiet too. Just a regular workplace where we get our daily tasks finished and prepare for the next morning. It works for us.
