Delhi Academy Of Merchant Navy

Our place is located at Plot No 1 on Shahpur Road, right out in Duhai. If you know the area, it's easy to find near the main road. We’ve been running the Delhi Academy Of Merchant Navy here for a while. It’s a bit away from the main city noise, which is good for the students who come here. We have classrooms and some outdoor space where the guys do their drills. It’s not a fancy college campus like you see in movies. It’s more like a practical training ground. Most of the instructors have spent years at sea, so they talk more about real life on a ship than what’s in the textbooks. We spend our days going over safety procedures, navigation, and general seafaring skills. The students live nearby or stay in the local hostels. Things can get a bit loud during physical training sessions, but that’s just part of the routine. We don't have a huge staff, just enough people to keep the classes running and the building maintained. Sometimes the power goes out or the road gets muddy after rain, but we just carry on. It’s a straightforward environment for young men looking to get into the merchant navy. We focus on the basics and try to prepare them for what's actually out there on the water. It’s a lot of hard work for them but they seem to handle it well. It’s a quiet life out here on Shahpur Road most of the time.
