We are based out in Adipur, which is over in the Buguda area of Ganjam. It’s a quiet spot compared to the big cities, but we stay busy enough with our recruitment work. People from all over Orissa come to us when they are looking for a job or when they need workers for their shops or small businesses. We don’t have a big team, just a few of us who know the local market and who’s looking for what. It started out as a small idea to help people in the village and surrounding areas find decent work. Now, we handle quite a bit more, but the way we do things hasn't changed much. We sit down with anyone who walks in and talk about what they can do and what they’re looking for. It’s not a high-tech operation, mostly just notebooks and a lot of phone calls to local owners. Sometimes we have to travel a bit to meet people, but mostly we are right here in Ganjam. It feels good when someone actually gets a job after talking to us. We don’t use any of those big words or fancy systems you see in the city. We just keep it honest and try to help where we can. It’s a basic service but it is important for the folks living around here in Buguda. We know the people and we know how the work gets done around here.
