Mahanty Enterprises

Mahanty Enterprises is located right at House E-1, very close to Bada Bazaar in Ankuli. Being near the bazaar means there is always something going on nearby. You can hear the sounds of the market from our front door. We’ve been in this part of Ganjam district for quite some time now. The house serves as our main office and storage space. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze when we have a lot of stock, but we’ve learned how to stack things to make it all fit. We handle a lot of local trade and supply work. It started out as a very small idea and just grew as we met more people in the bazaar. We don't have any fancy furniture or a reception desk. Usually, if you walk in, you’ll find one of us sitting at the big wooden table we use for everything. We drink a lot of chai and talk to whoever drops by. Sometimes customers stay for a chat even after the business is done. It’s that kind of place. We don't really follow a strict nine-to-five schedule either. If there’s work to do, we stay late. If it's a holiday in the bazaar, we might close up early too. It’s all very informal. We just try to keep our customers happy and make sure the deliveries go out on time when the trucks can get through the narrow streets. That's life here.
