Purangaon Farmers Producer Company Limited

Pravin Bhausaheb Thombare’s house on Gangapur Road is where we usually gather. Our name is Purangaon Farmers Producer Company Limited. It’s right there at House Number 70. We are just local farmers from the Purangaon area trying to make things work better for everyone involved. Farming is hard enough on your own, so a bunch of us got together to handle the business side of things. We spend most of our days out in the dirt, so having a central spot on Gangapur Road helps when we need to organize our seeds or talk about where the crops are going. It’s not like those big companies in the city. We talk in plain language and deal with things as they come up, whether it’s a pest problem or a dry spell. Sometimes we sit around at Pravin’s place and just figure out the next steps for the season. It’s a lot of practical work and not much else. We don’t have fancy signs or anything, just the work we do every day. The soil around here can be tough, but we know it well because we’ve lived here all our lives. Being a producer company just means we can buy what we need in bigger lots and help each other out when the harvest comes. It’s about sticking together in a place like this. We just want to get the work done and keep our farms going.
