Choudhary Bricks

Choudhary Bricks is located out in Village Anupgarh, not too far from Bikaner Road. We’ve been operating near the 1 Mlk area for a long time now. It’s a quiet spot, mostly farmland around us except for the trucks coming and going. The work starts early in the morning before the sun gets too hot. We have a small crew from the village who helps with the stacking. It's not a glamorous job. You get mud under your fingernails and the heat from the chimney is always there. Our address is near the post office in Gharsana, so we get our mail there. Mostly, we just focus on keeping the kiln running right. Sometimes the supply of soil is better than other times, which changes how things look. We don’t have a fancy office or anything like that. Just a small shed where we keep our logs and take breaks. If you're driving down Bikaner Road, you can usually see the smoke or the stacks of red from a distance. It's a local operation, and we know most of the people who buy from us. We’ve had good years and lean years, but the bricks still get made either way. We aren't doing anything revolutionary, just standard work that’s been done this way for generations in our family. It keeps us busy and pays the bills for the folks working here. We just try to stay out of trouble and keep the trucks moving when the orders come in.
