Arora Brick Industries

Arora Brick Industries is out in Village Bhadwanwala, right along National Highway-15. We are under the Raisinghnagar Post Office and Tehsil. Being on the highway means we see a lot of people passing through this part of the district. The wind blows pretty hard across the open land here, so we are always dealing with dust and sand getting into everything. We have a large area where the kilns are located and where the raw bricks sit out to dry in the sun. It’s a big operation but it’s still just a local family-style setup. We don't have any corporate rules or fancy titles. Everyone just pitches in where they are needed. Sometimes that means loading a truck and other times it means checking the fire in the kilns at odd hours. We talk to the farmers from the nearby fields and the builders who come up from Raisinghnagar. The highway noise is just something we have gotten used to over the years. We keep a small space for people to sit if they need to wait for their orders to be tallied up. It’s a basic way of doing business, but it works for us and the people around here. We don't promise anything other than a pile of bricks that are ready to be used. It's just how life is on the edge of the highway, staying busy and keeping the supply moving for the local area.
