Vishal Containers Pvt. Ltd. is located out at 919 in the GIDC Estate in Chhatral, which is part of the Kalol area. Being in an industrial estate means we are surrounded by other workshops and factories. It’s a dusty and busy place, especially when trucks are moving in and out all day long. Our office is right there on the site, so we can see what’s going on with the container production. It’s not the kind of place where you’d wear a suit and tie. Most of us are in practical clothes because there’s always something to check on or a problem to solve on the floor. We deal with lots of metal, welding, and painting, so the smell of the shop is always in the air. We’ve been operating here for years and have seen the GIDC grow quite a bit. It’s a tough environment, but we like the work. There isn't any fancy lobby or receptionist here; you usually just walk in and find whoever is available to talk. We focus on getting the containers built and sent out to our customers on time. The days are long and often quite hot, but that’s part of being in the manufacturing business in Kalol. We’re just a group of workers who know our trade and keep our heads down to get the orders filled. It’s a straightforward way of living and working for everyone here, without any of the corporate fluff you find in bigger cities.
